La Isla Bar & kitchen situated quite literally in the middle of the swimming pool along with our showcase restaurant La Mesa that is located in the Club House, are both getting excellent reviews from clients. |
|

| La Isla offer a great selection of day-time snacks, prepared either in the kitchen or on the barbecue. They can serve drinks either at the bar or directly to your sun lounger in the swimming pool area. The restaurant management team and staff who run both eateries offer a friendly and efficient service and both establishments are proving to be a great asset to the resort |

| La Mesa opens in the evenings and has a fabulous menu where the food is home-cooked and made to order, so everything is freshly prepared. The food is proving increasingly popular and we must mention the excellent Sunday roasts that are so popular that they need to be booked in advance. |

Off the beaten track - Punto del Hidalgo |

Punta del Hidalgo or Punta Hidalgo or simply La Punta as it is sometimes known, is a coastal town pertaining to the district of La Laguna. |
|
It is one of the most touristic areas of la Laguna but still conserves its fishing and agricultural heritage. There are several swimming areas including man-made sea water pools such as the one shown in the photograph.
The lighthouse, completed in 1992 has a unique angular design and is 50 metres high built with reinforced concrete. There are several similarly modern lighthouses in the Canary islands, three of which are situated in Tenerife.

There are two walks or “senderos” both leading from Cruz del Carmen that is situated high up in the mountains.
• Sendero PR-TF 10 Cruz del Carmen - Punta del Hidalgo.
• Sendero PR-TF 11 Cruz del Carmen - El Batán - Punta del Hidalgo.
The images show that the scenery is quite spectacular and a world away from the popular touristic areas on the island.

| Plan Your Christmas in Tenerife |

If you still haven’t planned your Christmas break to get away from the winter weather, there’s no better place than Tenerife. What better than some swimming and sunbathing, good food and all the home comforts that the apartments offer.
For a real Christmas experience, the capital Santa Cruz has a fantastic tradition for Christmas events. There’s a great selection of shops, the prices are hard to beat, and with over 2.2 million led lights spread around the city centre, it simply puts you in the Christmas spirit. The only thing that’s not Christmassy is the weather!

Path Leading from
Amarilla Golf to Los Abrigos |

There’s a nice walk that starts along the coastal path close to Fairways and takes you to Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur and then through to Los Abrigos.
The walk begins with the Amarilla golf course in view on one side and the ocean on the other, and you will have spectacular views of the golf greens and fairways along with a beautiful rugged coastline. The path that does include some steps, carries on towards the Marina and from there a new promenade leads through to Golf del Sur. This then connects up with Los Abrigos, and the whole walk should take in the region of 75 minutes or so.

| Fairways Club 2019 AGM |

We would like to confirm to Club Members that we will be holding the 2019 Fairways Club AGM onsite at Pueblo Evita Club, Benalmadena Costa, Malaga, on 5 November 2019 (time to be confirmed at a later date). We will offer rental inventory to members to attend the AGM, week commencing 2 or 3 November 2019 (Saturday and Sunday being the change over days at Pueblo Evita Club).
We can also arrange with Dial an Exchange a special program that will allow a Fairways Member to deposit their yearly allocation with Dial an Exchange and request this week at Pueblo Evita Club (normal exchange fee applies). In these cases, Dial an Exchange will come to us for the exact inventory that the member is requesting for this stay. Of course the members can also arrange their own accommodation in the area and attend the AGM on the set date. |

LORO PARQUE
One of the most famous and best kept parks in the world, that just keeps getting better. There are fabulous shows that include parrots, sea lions, dolphins and the world-famous orcas. There is plenty for kids and adults alike, with Katandra Treetops, penguins, aquarium, gorillas and so much more. The park is regularly voted on Trip Advisor as one of the best parks in the world. |

SIAM PARK
This is one of the best water theme parks in the world, so good in fact that in 2014 it was voted as the world’s best water park and has the best trip advisor rating. The park keeps on adding attractions, with each new one taking the thrills to new levels.

MOUNT TEIDE & CABLE CARD RIDE
A visit to the highest mountain in Spain is a must when visiting Tenerife. There is a cable car service, and after that a path to the peak that rises to 3718 metres, although you will need to be in good physical condition to manage the walk. The national park itself offers a fascinating landscape, with many viewing points offering insights into the origins of the volcano and the island itself.
